Called to Braefoot Bay for a False Alarm

The lifeboat was retasked from shout 42 to reports of a vessel in difficulty near Braefoot Bay Marine Terminal.

The location was in doubt and a search was requested from Braefoot to Hound Point.

The first informant was then able to confirm that rocks near Hound Point were mistaken for a vessel. The search was then stood down.
